True Water and Kubota enhance strategic partnership
True Water team members recently travelled to Tokyo to meet with Kubota Corporation as part of their ongoing wastewater partnership. Renowned for its Johkasou wastewater treatment technology developed over 50 years, Kubota leads the international wastewater industry in innovation.
True Water is the exclusive supplier of Kubota Johkasou technology to Australia and the Pacific. The relationship has strengthened over the years with many visits between the two companies to collaborate, learn and share ideas. Our strategic partnership was originally formed in 2013, and the distributorship agreement was reconfirmed and extended to 2027 during recent talks.
This visit follows True Water’s recent approval and licencing as an Independent Water Utility in Australia. Teaming up with Kubota, we provide sustainable wastewater solutions for communities of up to 5,000 people.
“We are excited to further solidify our trusted and long-standing partnership. This association includes a shared approach to technological development and environmental stewardship. We are mutually driven by a dedication to provide our clients with world-leading, efficient, reliable, and sustainable wastewater treatment systems." Information sharing advances Kubota wastewater partnership
Our discussions centred on wastewater treatment research and development, specifically innovation and infrastructure advancements. We covered the latest in Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) systems, strategies to boost treatment efficiency, and the creation of sustainable, high-performance solutions. The differences between the Australian and Japanese market and industry regulations were also discussed.
This long-standing and trusted partnership develops our ability to innovate in the wastewater sector by integrating Kubota’s cutting-edge technologies with our industry experience. It includes compact, modular onsite sewage treatment plants ideal for commercial and industrial use. Collaborating closely with Kubota allows us to incorporate advanced ISO certified technologies into our project management and delivery.
During our visit, we also inspected installed systems and received training from Kubota technicians on STP operation and maintenance. This ongoing education underscores our commitment to providing our clients with top-tier service and operational security. Our time spent in Tokyo visiting various sites with the team from Kubota was educational and inspiring. We continue to share knowledge to further develop the partnership, bringing Japanese quality and attention to detail to the Australian wastewater market.
